Below are answers to some common questions we are frequently asked.
Q: Why choose TEO courses?
A: Many accountants, lawyers and other business advisors comment that our courses are practical and relevant to their jobs - what they really need to know. Our courses are designed specifically for practitioners who deal with SMEs, not large corporates. All presenters are senior practitioners and experts in their field. Q: What do I receive at a TEO course?
A: A high quality presentation from an expert presenter who knows their stuff. An advance soft copy of a (80 page) technical course paper prior to course AND hard copy at the actual course. This invaluable paper outlines key legislation and learning outcomes for you to apply immediately in your role. Plus you receive the presentation slides of course!
Q:How do I know what training you have coming up?
A: If you are on our mailing list then we will keep you informed with upcoming courses. Plus those who provide an email address get additional the very latest news updates. Click here to simply register for our mailing list by contacting TEO.
Q: I can't see where to register online?
A: Navigate to the course page and click on the "Register Now" image in the top right hand side of the page. If the image is not there, we've probably disabled online registrations due to full (or close to full) venues. To register in this situation, please download a registration form and send through to us. If you are able to scan the form, you can email it to info@teo.co.nz.
Q: I noticed a course is not coming to our town?
A: We run courses in nearly 30 locations nationwide, from Whangarei to Invercargill, but sometimes it's not feasible to run our training in every town. Please contact us if you want a course to come to your town.
Q: Do you run in-house training?
A: Yes, we run many courses in-house for firms and organisations. In-house sessions are great for topics which have wide appeal for your staff. This can reduce time/cost of staff out of office attending courses and discuss/tailor topics to your particular situation confidentially. Simply contact TEO about tax and accounting courses in-house
Q: Can I receive the course material in advance?
A: Yes, simply request upon registration and TEO will email course paper the week prior to your registered course date. Please note your course fee is non-refundable if you choose this option. You will still get a hard copy of the course paper and slides at the actual presentation.
Q: Can you offer a special rate for groups?
A: Yes, we offer early bird rates, group discounts for more than 2 staff and extra special rates for larger bookings too. Simply contact General Manager Brent Strong at TEO Training to discuss further on 0800 273 746.
